Container transport by sea
Container transport can be divided into two types.
Transport in a 40ft High Cube container or a 20ft High Cube container.
For the sea transport of Kovobel containers, we primarily use 40ft HC containers. This ensures you receive the best price per container.
40ft High Cube container example:
- 12 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 6m
- 18 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 4m
- 24 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 3m
- 32 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 2m (2 pcs standing)
- 6 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 6m + 12 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 3m
- 6 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 5m + 6 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 4m + 6 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 3m
Or any other combination within the available space.
For the transport of sample containers or smaller quantities and parts, the 20ft High Cube container is an option.
20ft High Cube container example:
- 13 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 2m (3 pcs standing)
- 5 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 3m + 6 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 2m (1 pc standing)
- 5 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 4m + 5 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 2m (all standing)
- 5 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 5m + 2 pcs of KOVOBEL containers 2m (both standing)
For securing Kovobel containers within sea containers, we sell special “shipping sets” for 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6m.
For your information, a 2m container has a net length of 2.25m; it is possible to transport up to 5 Kovobel containers in a standing position within the container without a shipping set. The containers are then placed on their side and are the last to enter the container, meaning they must also be the first to be removed.
