Delivery, Returns & Warranty

Collection or delivery?

Virtually all products from Kovobel Benelux BV can be collected or delivered by us.

Many of our products consist of steel structures, containers, and custom solutions. Depending on the dimensions and weight, these are transported by truck, crane truck, or specialized transport.

Would you like to collect your order yourself? Please ensure suitable transport with sufficient load capacity. Our products are loaded from the side with a forklift or from above with a crane, depending on the product.

We can also fully arrange the transport for you. Please feel free to contact us for the possibilities and the associated transport costs.

Important information

Quotes and webshop

Via www.kovobel.nl you can both order products directly and request a quote.

For standard products, prices and any shipping costs are clearly stated.

For larger projects, custom work, business requests, assembly, or transport, you will receive a quote in advance in which all agreements are included.

Collection in IJsselstein

  • Collection is possible after your order has been confirmed by us.
  • You must have suitable transport with sufficient load capacity.
  • We load your goods with a forklift or crane.
  • Collection is free of charge.

Delivery

We provide daily deliveries within the Netherlands, Belgium, and surrounding countries.

Depending on the product, we deliver with:

  • delivery van;
  • truck;
  • crane truck;
  • specialized transport.

We work exclusively with professional carriers who have experience with steel products.

Delivery times are stated with the product. When no delivery time is indicated, it usually takes between 3 and 12 working days, depending on stock and production planning.

A large part of our range is produced in-house. Would you like to know the current delivery time? Please feel free to contact us.

Built to Order (Customization)

A large part of the Kovobel Benelux BV range is produced specifically for the customer.

This includes, among others:

  • containers;
  • material containers;
  • storage containers;
  • custom structures;
  • products with non-standard dimensions;
  • products with customer-specific options;
  • products that have been modified upon request.

For these products, they are manufactured specifically for you and are therefore excluded from the legal right of withdrawal for consumers, in accordance with Article 6:230p of the Dutch Civil Code.

Are you unsure whether a product is being produced specifically for you? Then request a quote in advance. In this, we will inform you whether it is a Built to Order product and which conditions apply to it.

Returning Built to Order products is, in principle, not possible.

Warranty

We exclusively deliver high-quality products.

Unless otherwise agreed, the following applies:

  • 1-year manufacturer’s warranty on structural defects;
  • warranty per individual component;
  • missing parts will be delivered subsequently free of charge;
  • demonstrable manufacturing defects will be repaired or replaced.

Excluded from the warranty are:

  • normal wear and tear;
  • damage from use;
  • damage due to incorrect use;
  • damage occurring during transport by third parties;
  • corrosion or rust as a result of damage, wear, or insufficient maintenance.

In the event of a hidden manufacturing defect, Kovobel Benelux BV will repair or replace the relevant parts within the Benelux.

Transport and Risk

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, our deliveries are carried out according to the Incoterms® stated in the quote or order confirmation.

When transport is arranged on behalf of the customer, the transport risk lies with the customer from the moment the order is placed.

When Kovobel Benelux BV organizes transport on behalf of the customer, this is done at the expense and risk of the customer, unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Returns – Business Customers (B2B)

For business orders, the agreements as included in the quote, order confirmation, and our general terms and conditions apply.

Standard products can only be returned after prior written permission.

Returned shipments must:

  • be complete;
  • be unused;
  • be undamaged;
  • be in original condition.

Any return, transport, repair, or administrative costs may be deducted.

After receipt, the goods will be inspected. If the return shipment is approved, the agreed amount will be credited within a reasonable period.

Transport costs to and from Kovobel Benelux BV are at the expense of the customer.

Returns – Consumers (B2C)

For consumers, a legal cooling-off period of 14 days applies after receipt of the order.

Within this period, you can revoke the agreement without giving reasons.

After notifying the withdrawal, you have another 14 days to return the product.

After receipt and inspection, we will refund the purchase amount via the same payment method used for the original transaction.

Exceptions to the right of withdrawal

The legal right of withdrawal does not apply to products that:

  • have been produced specifically for you;
  • are custom-made;
  • have been adapted to your wishes;
  • are part of a project production;
  • have already been assembled or modified.

In addition, standard products can only be returned if they:

  • are completely unused;
  • have not undergone assembly;
  • contain no signs of use;
  • show no damage;
  • are complete including all parts.

Products that have been assembled, used, modified, or damaged cannot be returned.

We strive to handle every complaint as quickly as possible and will provide a substantive response within 14 days at the latest.

Useful to know

Many products from Kovobel Benelux BV are steel structures.

After placement, these can be moved with a forklift or crane, depending on the type of product. Please take this into account when choosing the final installation location.
